How to listen to music on google pixel 2 with headphones

I really want to get the pixel 2 to finally upgrade from my nexus 5 (yea I've had this phone for 4 years now). I love everything about the pixel 2 except the fact that there is no headphone jack. So I have two questions for people that have been using dongle to listen to music through usb c:
